PLAYER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Considered an integral part of the Canada Soccer Player Pathway, the Player Development Program (PDP) is defined by our National Association as the highest level of youth competition in our country. Available only to National Youth Club Licence holders, it will create a “best-on-best” Canada Soccer-aligned competition in our province.


As one of the inaugural recipients of the National Youth Club Licence, Edmonton Scottish United Soccer Club was excited to participate in the launch of the league in 2021.

  • What days & times does the Program run?

    Mondays & Wednesdays

    April 15 - June 26

    • Under 4: Mondays, 5 - 5:45 PM
    • Under 5: Wednesdays, 5 - 5:55 PM
    • Under 6/7: Mondays and Wednesdays, 5 - 5:55 PM
  • When and where is the Grassroots Program held?

    Scottish United SC’s Grassroots Program will run from April 15, 2024  - June 26, 2024 on Mondays & Wednesdays from 5:00 - 5:55 PM. 


    All sessions will be held at the Edmonton Soccer Dome ( 3126 Ewing Trail SW).

  • What field is my child on?

    You will be emailed your child's group and field location the weekend before the start date of the Program. 

  • What equipment does my child need?

    Your child can wear outdoor soccer cleats inside the dome, turf, indoor, or running shoes. Outdoor soccer cleats are the best choice for the turf. 


    Children should wear athletic clothing, shorts, soccer socks and shin pads, and bring a filled water bottle to each session.

  • Is a Training Kit provided & when do we receive it?

    All players will be provided with a T-shirt, shorts, and socks. The kit will be handed out within the first month of programming.
